Consumer Rights Under ACL

Under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), you are entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement if the item you purchased has a major problem that would have stopped you from buying it had you known about the issue, such as:

The item is defective.
The item is unsafe.
The item is not durable or does not last a reasonable amount of time.
The item does not do what it is expected to do.
The item is significantly different from the description, sample, or demonstration provided.
The item is not fit for purpose and cannot be fixed within a reasonable timeframe.

If a product issue falls under any of these categories, you have the right to request a full refund in the original payment method or an alternative remedy, as required under the ACL.

Change of Mind Returns

Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds for change of mind purchases. Please ensure you are certain of your purchase before proceeding with your order.

However, if you wish to exchange your item for a different size or receive store credit, we offer the following options:

Size Exchange: Available subject to stock levels.
Store Credit: Issued as a digital code via email, valid indefinitely.

Purchases with Discount Codes or During Sales

If you purchased using a welcome or other discount code or during a site-wide sale, you will only be eligible for a store credit or exchange, provided all other return requirements are met.

Permanent sale items from our sale page are not eligible for returns, so please choose carefully.

Returning Faulty or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is faulty or incorrect, please contact our customer service team at jalayimiya@outlook.com as soon as possible. We will work with you to resolve the issue promptly, including offering a repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate.

Please note:

Items must be returned unworn, unwashed, and with all sanitary liners, sizing tags, and swing tags attached.
Shipping costs for returns are not reimbursed unless required under the ACL.

Final Sale Items

Items discounted by more than 10% are considered Final Sale and are not eligible for return unless faulty. Exchanges for a different size may be available if stock permits.

Returning Your Items

To return an item, please follow these steps:

Contact Us: Email jalayimiya@outlook.com to lodge your return.
Pack Securely: Ensure your item is securely packed to prevent damage during transit.
Ship the Item: Send the item to:

Please use a tracked shipping service. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty.

Processing Returns

Timeframe: Items must be shipped within 2 weeks of lodging your return.
Processing: Allow 1-4 business days for return processing once we receive your item. You will be notified via email about the outcome of your return.
Denied Returns: If your return does not meet our policy criteria, it will be returned to you within 7 business days.

Sizing Guidance

To avoid sizing issues, please consult the detailed size guide provided on each product page. If you are unsure, contact our team at jalayimiya@outlook.com for advice. Refunds or exchanges for incorrect size selection are not offered unless required under the ACL.

Parcel Liability

Jalayimiya Swim is not liable for lost or stolen parcels once the postal carrier confirms delivery to the provided address. We recommend ensuring secure delivery arrangements.

Your Rights

Nothing in this policy overrides your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). We encourage all customers to understand their rights when purchasing goods in Australia.
