One model shared, “I could strongly sense that the way we were all hyping each other up throughout the day was having a great effect on relaxing the girls who were appearing self-conscious about their bodies.” This camaraderie fostered an atmosphere where we could celebrate one another’s beauty, regardless of our shapes or sizes.
We've had models ranging from 13 to 64 years old, each bringing their own unique stories and experiences. Another model, at 64, expressed her desire to inspire other older women to feel proud of their bodies and confident in a swimsuit, saying, “I am a dickhead that likes to do different stuff.” This kind of authenticity and joy resonates throughout our brand, proving that beauty knows no age limit.

Brodie George, the founder of Jalayimiya Swim, reflects on the impact of these shoots: “A shoot in particular really opened my eyes that it isn’t just my models who are considered plus size that suffer with insecurities; it is also my models at the other end of the spectrum. I often reassure my models that they will be surprised by how much they will appreciate their bodies and embrace their beauty throughout and after the shoots, and this is all confirmed by them once the shoot has wrapped up.”
